Acorns
Outreach is a Day-Treatment Agency for
Alcoholics and Drug Addicts. It serves the North-East of England.
Treatment is by means of the Twelve-step
Programme, which has been clinically proven to be the best course of treatment
for all forms of addiction.
It was originally devised in 1935 by alcoholics for alcoholics and, by using the
twelve steps, the number of alcoholics who have achieved permanent sobriety can
be measured in millions. We
use our own, unique method of applying the Twelve-step programme which we call
the Acorns Exegetic Approach. This is aimed at those who have had difficulty with
the programme elsewhere or those who want a turbo-start in recovery. Feel
